Apple will introduce its latest iPad 3 here next month, media reports said Feb 10. The next generation iPad will be slightly thicker than the iPad 2 and have 4 new features

1. Retina Display

As the human eye can only see around 300 pixels per inch, the screen of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S have 326 pixels per inch. Now iPad 3 the new tablet will also feature a high-resolution screen similar to the 2048×1536-pixel Retina Display. Other rumors suggested that Apple would introduce a no-need-for-glasses stereoscopic 3D display in the iPad 3, which sounds pretty cool.

2. New cameras

Although iPad 2 have two cameras for facebook or photos or video, but the rear one only 0.7 mega pixels, so the files look grainy and very low quality. iPad 3 the new tablet will incremental upgrade than a major overhaul, the new device will feature brand new front and rear cameras. Considering that the iPhone 4S introduced new, HD-quality cameras when it released in October, it seems likely that Apple will bring those cameras to the new iPad as well.

3. Siri

I don’t know if you have seen The Big Bang Theory Season 5 episode 15, Raj was really crazy for Siri, totally addict in her, maybe a little bit exaggerated, but this indicates people like Siri very much. The popularity of Apple’s voice-operated personal assistant, Siri, has helped make the iPhone 4S an unprecedented success since its release in April, so its inclusion in the latest iPad seems like a guarantee. That said, it will likely be featured only in those models with 3G capability.

4. LTE 4G

The iPad 3 may in fact be the first Apple device to support LTE 4G networks like those run by Verizon and AT&T. LTE stands for Long Term Evolution, a high-speed wireless technology that supports roaming Internet access on mobile devices. LTE networks are growing quickly and will likely replace current 3G networks in many markets by 2013. Apple has been rumored to be building LTE compatible smartphones and tablets for some time.

I don't think iPad 3 only have 4 new features, so more expecting will be paid on the March press conference.
